Job: Senior Archaeology Manager

Senior Archaeology Manager

Salary $86,000

You are an experienced archaeologist, permit holder, and project manager, who has been working in the discipline for more than eight years. You’ve worked on all types of resource projects in BC…but now you want to lead a team in heritage work beyond AIAs. You understand the connection between consulting archaeology and the real and measurable impacts our work has on title and rights, Indigenous sovereignty, and public awareness of social inequities. You’re a story teller and are ready to move beyond reports as the primary deliverable. You want to work directly with company owners to change how, why, and for whom archaeology is done. You crave work/life balance, and appreciate a company that doesn’t value you according to how many hours you spend sitting at your desk.
