Are you interested in working with a team that embraces new ways of doing archaeology? A team that has committed to Reconciliation with a formalized Action Plan and Indigenous Engagement Policy? At Millennia, our archaeologists and GIS specialists share a vision to provide high quality services and products using new technologies and approaches that contribute to the preservation, investigation, presentation, and knowledge of the past. We are committed to engaging with community and sharing these products freely and openly with the Indigenous communities for which, and with which, we work.  Our corporate culture prioritizes the inherent value of archaeological heritage and our connections with each other, including the Nations with which we work. We gratefully acknowledge these Indigenous communities, their living heritage, and the cultural legacy that has been shared with us.

We are equally grateful for the commitment, integrity and passion of our dedicated team. We are a small company of approximately 20 employees with a collaborative and team-based work environment. Millennia’s office is located close to downtown Victoria, directly adjacent to the Galloping Goose Regional Trail, and near major transit corridors with year-round walking, biking, and public transit friendly commuting options. Most of Millennia’s work is on southern Vancouver Island, but we undertake projects across British Columbia. Millennia provides archaeological services to a wide variety of clients in British Columbia including First Nations, governments, Crown corporations, and private companies and individuals.

If our culture sounds like a match with yours, please apply.
