Kleanza is an archaeology consulting firm with offices in Terrace, Prince Rupert, central Vancouver Island (Bowser), and Vancouver and are seeking exceptional Project Managers, Field Directors and Field Supervisors for full-time positions based out of Vancouver office. The position will primarily be based in Vancouver but may include travel throughout BC. LOCATION: We would consider candidates based in Vancouver or the Lower Mainland, BC. SALARY: Project Managers: $35 – 40/hr Field Directors: $33-35/hr Field Supervisors: $30 – 32.99/hr BENEFITS:
QUALIFICATONS:
PROJECT MANAGER Ideal applicants will be a Permit Holder in at least one culture area in BC (preference to Coastal) and have a proven track record of undertaking ethical archaeology with and for First Nations on Vancouver Island and the rest of the province. Applicants must be an approved Field Director. FIELD DIRECTOR applicants must be approved Field Directors with the British Columbia Archaeology Branch. FIELD SUPERVISOR applicants must be approved Field Supervisors with the Branch Columbia Archaeology Branch. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include: field work, report writing, interacting with clients, working with First Nations, project planning, developing project scopes and estimates, developing research design, managing project budgets, deliverables, and timelines, and supervising crews. Applicants must be physically fit and hold a valid class 5 Driver’s License and Level I First Aid. Additional training such as ATV, snowmobile, and Wilderness First Aid certification would be an asset.
